Bowman is providing program management assistance to CGC to fulfill their development goals and execute a wide range of planning, design and permitting services for each project site, including civil engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, right-of-way, and environmental consulting.

Bowman provided detailed full scope bridge design and construction administration for various reconstruction efforts throughout Illinois. The team worked in tandem with state and local officials to ensure the design and planning process meet all safety and construction standards.

Bowman is responsible for Phase I, II and III engineering services to upgrade the existing Shermer Road Bridge to meet current structural, hydraulic and geometric requirements.

Bowman provided Phase II engineering design of a two-span steel through girder railroad bridge. Bowman is providing project management services for the design and construction of transportation improvements that will improve safety, operations, and streets in and around the Lincoln Yards Development.

CM services for bridge/retaining wall construction, roadway reconstruction, erosion control and protection, utility relocation of storm sewers, water tunnels, special waste excavation, earth excavation and embankment, removal of existing improvements, pavements, marking/signage, lighting, ITS, traffic control and protection, and urban enhancements.

Bowman provides design engineering services to Peoples Gas, Light and Coke Company (PGL) for PGL’s Accelerated Main Replacement Program (AMRP). These engineering services are for gas main installation and replacement projects the design of permanent bridge supports of existing gas mains at proposed utility crossings, and maintenance of traffic plans for neighborhood projects.

Bowman provided its core engineering and design services to facilitate the planning and reconstruction and resurfacing of over a mile of public road infrastructure. The team also oversaw the design and replacement of thousands of feet of utility lines. This required coordination of detailed field survey and geotechnical investigations to ensure design accounted for real world constraints.

Bowman staff has provided design engineering services for more than 200 sewer improvements on a task order basis throughout the City of Chicago. Sewer sizes vary from small diameter to 15-ft by 12-ft monolithic concrete sewers.

Bowman provided civil site engineering services and prepared construction documents for the development of Block Thirty Seven, a mixed-use retail and entertainment, CTA transit station, office and retail project at 108 North State Street.
