Bowman performed due diligence and land use entitlement services for this 60-unit senior living facility including boundary and topographic surveys, due diligence and preliminary engineering, a preliminary traffic assessment, final site plan preparation and construction plans, and land acquisition transaction services, including an ALTA/ACSM Land Title survey, lead and asbestos survey, easement plats, VSMP General Permit and SWPPP, and subdivision platting.

Beaverdam Reservoir

With this study, Bowman’s team prepared a schematic design for potential park features, developed base mapping to determine development constraints and the boundaries of environmental overlay districts using GIS data, and identified potential access locations and existing public utilities. The information was to be used for development of a conceptual facility layout.

Austin Regional Clinic

This project, situated on approximately 2.48 acres, includes medical offices, a coffee shop, and an associated parking lot. Bowman provided site plan preparation including grading, paving, drainage, on site water and wastewater lines design and parking requirements. This was the first site plan in the City of Kyle with zero set back lines. Bowman helped to introduce this new urban development concept to the City.

Beach Mill Road Channel Restoration

Bowman provided on-call services to Fairfax County’s Stormwater Planning Division. The team provided environmental consulting services, conceptual and final engineering design, and construction phase administration for this stream restoration project. Bowman’s team of environmental scientists performed a wetland delineation and stream mitigation evaluation, and a Water Quality Impact Assessment report and small whorled pogonia survey were prepared.

Bathtub Beach Specific Purpose Survey

Bowman provided multiple drone-based laser survey scans to analyze and monitor ongoing beach improvements. The team worked closely with FAA and local authorities for permitted exemptions to operate in prohibited drone areas.

Andrews Air Force Base Family Housing

Bowman prepared demolition plans for areas proposed for redevelopment of residential units and future commercial and office uses. Scope included preliminary engineering design, layout and grading of roadways and housing units, utility design, stormwater management, topographic and improvement surveys, and an ALTA/ACSM land title survey. Technical review and quality control of final engineering documents were also provided.

Albemarle County Economic Development Site Evaluation

Bowman provided engineering services to evaluate the site readiness and economic development suitability of nine properties located within the County-designated growth area to evaluate their po-tential for economic development and the value that Bowman can create through the quantification of site development needs such as entitlements, permits, soils, environmental features, surveys and available infrastructure.

75th Street Intersection Improvements

Phase I Engineering Services to evaluate four intersections to identify improvements that will address the accident history, increase the safety of the intersections, and create continuity throughout the corridor while minimizing impacts to the operational characteristics of the intersections. Includes Intersection Design Studies, Drainage Technical Memo and preparation of a Project Development Report for 75th Street.

Alexander’s Crossing

Alexis Wind Farm

Bowman established the primary geodetic control network consisting of 20 control monuments throughout a 70,000 acre wind farm development in Western Illinois. Bowman used GPS static observations and advanced post-processing adjustments to establish NAD83 horizontal and NGVD88 vertical datum to support the boundary survey and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey and future construction stakeout for this wind farm.
