Bowman was tapped by Florida Power & Light (FPL) to support the structural evaluation of transmission poles accommodating distribution underbuild upgrades. The work was conducted across both 69 kV and 138 kV circuits, addressing individual poles as well as larger groups of structures to assess the feasibility of proposed modifications.
A high-end Miami residence remodel required precise as-built documentation. Advanced laser scanning captured the home’s complex interior, exterior, and landscaping. A collaborative process delivered a SketchUp-ready 3D model, with exceptional detail in key areas. The result enabled a seamless start to the redesign, meeting the designer’s expectations with precision.
A South Beach hotel needed restoration after hurricane damage threatened its 1940s art deco elegance. Detailed 3D scanning revealed over 50 unique room layouts and structural issues. The as-built model provided critical insights, enabling precise renovations and helping preserve the hotel’s historic charm while supporting timely recovery efforts.
An expanding hardware store chain accelerated its US growth by using advanced laser scanning and Revit modeling for Florida locations. Standardized documentation, remote virtual access, and precise site data streamlined renovations, enabling seamless collaboration between on-site teams and remote design groups.
Our team is currently preparing roadway design plans for the reconstruction of an 0.8-mile roadway segment on Kirk Road, from Summit Boulevard to Gun Club Road, in Unincorporated Palm Beach County.
Since 2003, our firm has been a transportation consultant to the City of Fort Myers on multiple, consecutive contracts that have precipitated numerous design, planning, and traffic engineering projects. Our team has carried the Challenger Boulevard at Winkler Avenue project from study/conception to final design.
Our team prepared design plans for a half-mile segment of NW 31st Avenue, from NW 39th Street to NW 44th Street. The City initiated this LAP/JPA (Joint Permit Application) project to implement complete streets, particularly to provide sidewalk along the east side, providing safer pedestrian access to transit stops.
Our team completed multiple tasks on a Continuing Service Traffic Signal Design Contract with the Palm Beach County Traffic Division. Assignments included a school zone LAP project and preparation of traffic signal installation plans for multiple county intersections.
