Bowman provided civil engineering services and preparation of construction documents in conjunction with the de-velopment of a mixed-use retail/entertainment, CTA transit station, office and retail project. The project consisted of approximately 400,000 sq. ft. above-grade retail and entertainment uses housed on four levels and approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of Class A office building housing a new 17-story facility for CBS Broadcasting.

Bluestone to Sunoco Pipeline

Bowman provided planning, survey, and design services included pipeline and right-of-way design, project coordination with routing, land agents, environmental, archeological, and geotechnical sub-consultants, construction and surveying, and preparation of construction documents including major horizontal drilling designs for numerous interstate highway, road and railroad crossings, creeks and wetlands.

Bickford South Eby Senior Living Facility

Bowman performed due diligence and land use entitlement services for this 60-unit senior living facility including boundary and topographic surveys, due diligence and preliminary engineering, a preliminary traffic assessment, final site plan preparation and construction plans, and land acquisition transaction services, including an ALTA/ACSM Land Title survey, lead and asbestos survey, easement plats, VSMP General Permit and SWPPP, and subdivision platting.

Ballie Trust Pipeline

Bowman provided its core planning, survey, and design services to deliver a pipeline expansion project on a very tight deadline. The team had to navigate environmental sensitive areas, state and federal permitting requirements, endangered animals, and changing landowner consents.

Beaverdam Reservoir

With this study, Bowman’s team prepared a schematic design for potential park features, developed base mapping to determine development constraints and the boundaries of environmental overlay districts using GIS data, and identified potential access locations and existing public utilities. The information was to be used for development of a conceptual facility layout.

31 & 32 Laurens Street

Bowman has partnered with Southern Land Company to provide civil engineering and survey services for the development of the Society at Laurens – a luxury, mid-rise apartment community with 148 apartment units located in Charleston, South Carolina, The community will also include a resort style pool, lounge, fitness center, and business center.

America Online Campus

Bowman designed a major portion of the 216-acre HQ campus and conducted extensive records research and as-built utility surveys, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water, gas, irrigation, fiber optic, telecommunications, and primary and secondary electric service lines.

Andrews Air Force Base Family Housing

Bowman prepared demolition plans for areas proposed for redevelopment of residential units and future commercial and office uses. Scope included preliminary engineering design, layout and grading of roadways and housing units, utility design, stormwater management, topographic and improvement surveys, and an ALTA/ACSM land title survey. Technical review and quality control of final engineering documents were also provided.

Bowman provided various professional services for this 346,400 sq. ft. warehouse and was responsible for the planning and design of stormwater management, storm drain layouts, water and sanitary sew-er alignments, erosion and sediment control staging, permitting, as well as retrofit design for storm-water pond conversion.
