The transformation of San Antonio’s historic Mission Road Power Plant into EPIcenter marks a shift from an industrial site to an energy innovation hub. Utilizing advanced laser scanning and drone technology, over 1,000 scans were captured to create a detailed Revit model. This model helped facilitate design, planning, and marketing efforts, blending historic preservation with cutting-edge technology for the future of energy.
Bowman was tapped to provide 3D laser scanning services for the renovation of Hubbard Hall at Texas Woman’s University. The final model provided the client with highly accurate, detailed documentation of the entire space.
Bowman’s 3D laser scanning, drone intelligence and modeling teams collaborated with the client, its vendors and consultants to create a variety of documents supporting the reconfiguration of a manufacturing plant.
Bowman conducted a comprehensive 3D laser scan of the entire building, from the center stage to the marble-clad exterior. The final Revit model ranged in detail from LOD 200 to 350, depending on the complexity of the space.
Bowman partnered with Rockcliff Energy to conduct a preliminary survey and perform construction staking for an 88-mile saltwater gathering system. This system, designed to enhance the efficiency of saltwater disposal in midstream operations, aimed to eliminate the dependence on conventional 18-wheeler disposal methods.
Bowman secured a contract to conduct a preliminary survey for a 55-mile gas gathering pipeline, which is designed to gather natural gas from several well locations and transports it to a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Southwest Louisiana.
Bowman was contracted to provide integrity support services for 41 miles of pipeline across East Texas and Northwest Louisiana. To ensure the reliability and safety of the energy infrastructure, our team conducted depth of cover surveys to assess the position of pipelines beneath the surface.
Bowman was engaged to provide open ditch as-built surveys for 315 miles of natural gas gathering systems. Bowman not only provided an accurate representation of the existing infrastructure but also served as a valuable resource for future maintenance, expansion and regulatory compliance.
The Fauna Facility Upgrade Project in Houston, Texas consisted of two phases, both of which centered on optimizing the tank to mainline flow. Phase I installed new piping from an existing surge relief system to the suction side of two existing mainline units. A new turbine meter, small volume prover, and new piping were installed downstream of the two existing mainline units.
