Global Logistics Park

Global Logistics Park is a master-planned distribution park located on the west side of Staten Island, New York. The park will contain nearly 4 million square feet of industrial buildings and related site infrastructure. Bowman provided survey layout services as the Surveyor-of-Record for the entire project.

Connell Solar L’Oreal Headquarters

Bowman obtained land use approvals for this LEED Gold Certified headquarters. The project sits on 12.83 acres and included the installation of over 21,000 sq. ft. of rooftop solar panels and 91,000 sq. ft. of parking lot canopy solar panels. Bowman performed initial due diligence research of municipal zoning, site plans, and coordination through the approval process.

Closter Plaza

Bowman provided a multi-faceted planning, analysis, and design scheme to redevelop a declining 200,000 sq. ft. community shopping center. The team was challenged to create a more pedestrian friendly design all while providing adequate vehicle site access. Bowman also provided the Site Design, Surveying, and Local, County and State Permitting for the project.

Chinese Cultural Center

Bowman provided professional design and platting services for a 30-acre cultural theme center. The team was responsible for the layout and design of public infrastructure including roads, utilities and underground stormwater retention.

Canton Car Wash

Bowman provided surveying, land planning, and engineering services. Given the unique nature of this car wash project it required an analysis of both automobile and pedestrian circulation patterns within the site to ensure safety of users and the public. This project took a highly visible, dilapidated and under-utilized piece of industrial real estate and transformed it into an attractive “green” commercial site.

Caliber Collision

The Caliber Collision-Bowman relationship is a national program which covers four states. Bowman provides initial ALTA and design survey services for the development of new centers and engineering services including Special Use Permit preparation and processing, and planning document processing and approvals. Also prepares full construction documents.

Berkeley Business Park

Bowman provided planning, surveying, and civil engineering services for this multi-phased redevelop-ment project. Scope included a Land Development Unit plan with layouts for stormwater and sanitary sewers, topographic and route surveys, land records research, easement and right-of-way acquisi-tions, supplemental landscape plans, conceptual design development and evaluation, final construc-tion drawing preparation, construction administration, construction stakeout, and more.

BB&T

Bowman was responsible for preparation of topographic survey, coordination with field crew, preparation of Special Use Permit (SUP) application and supporting documents including conceptual plans and exhibits for Plan Commission meeting and public hearing, preparation of construction documents including landscape plans, utilities coordination, coordination and obtainment of permit, and construction administration.

American Furniture Warehouse

Bowman provided a combination full scope development services starting with the initial survey, through design, and ultimate construction support. The team delivered engineering design services to including boundary verification, topographic analysis, and site improvements. The project required extensive coordination with local and state authorities during the design and permitting processes.

America Online Campus

Bowman was responsible for the design of a major portion of this 216-acre HQ campus and provided extensive records research; as-built surveys for sanitary sewer main and service line; storm sewer, water main, secondary service line; fiber optic duct bank; irrigation line; and gas main and secondary service line location surveys, as well as telecommunications; and primary and secondary service electric line surveys.
