I-5 Rose Quarter Improvements

As Engineer of Record, our team oversees major wall structures and provides structural engineering for new street connections and upgrades along I-5 from I-405 to the Morrison Bridge, including the Broadway/Weidler Interchange. Scope includes seismic evaluations for nine bridges and Phase 1 seismic retrofits to enhance infrastructure resilience.

Redondo Boardwalk Emergency Repair

Our team partnered with the City of Des Moines to restore the storm-damaged Redondo Boardwalk along Poverty Bay. Services included project management, structural engineering, environmental permitting, and construction oversight. Key repairs involved replacing girders, decking, and support elements, with FHWA funding accelerating timelines. The new design improves resilience, featuring concrete decking with wood-grain texture and UV-resistant coatings for longevity.

This 5 span, 180’-0” long bridge replacement project included a bridge over the Blue River on the south edge of Seward, Nebraska. This cast in-place concrete slab bridge was designed to handle the frequent flooding of the Blue River.

27th/Fairfield & West ‘O’ Street Bridge

Our team designed and provided construction management and construction inspections services for this federally funded project let by the NDOT. This project consisted of rehabilitating two bridges over Salt Creek in Lincoln, NE. The 2 bridges, one on 27th street and the other on West ‘O’ Street required several repairs.
