This six-story, luxury apartment complex consists of 248 units on 8.5 acres. Amenities include outdoor courtyards, swimming pool, and a fitness facility. Bowman provided a boundary and topographic survey of the site, preliminary and final site plans, which included a stormwater management report, and conducted a traffic impact study.

Bloomfield College Residence Hall

This project consisted of the design of a four-story, 83,000 sq. ft. residence hall centrally located on the campus of Bloomfield College. Bowman provided its core planning, surveying, and civil design services to facility the construction of a new campus multi-function area. The team’s role included land surveying, planning and feasibility studies, site plan development, preparation of construction documents, and construction administration and observation.

Blackstone

This Lennar community of 232 single family homes is situated adjacent to the prestigious Blackstone Country Club. Bowman reprocessed all entitlements which had expired for this legacy community. Construction documents included extensive coordination with the existing golf course and design of a hilltop playground and recreation area.

Block 37 Site Improvements

Bowman provided civil engineering services and preparation of construction documents in conjunction with the de-velopment of a mixed-use retail/entertainment, CTA transit station, office and retail project. The project consisted of approximately 400,000 sq. ft. above-grade retail and entertainment uses housed on four levels and approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of Class A office building housing a new 17-story facility for CBS Broadcasting.

Biltmore Shadows

Bowman was responsible for preparation of topographic survey, coordination with field crew, preparation of Special Use Permit (SUP) application and supporting documents including conceptual plans and exhibits for Plan Commission meeting and public hearing, preparation of construction documents including landscape plans, utilities coordination, coordination and obtainment of permit, and construction administration.

Bickford South Eby Senior Living Facility

Bowman performed due diligence and land use entitlement services for this 60-unit senior living facility including boundary and topographic surveys, due diligence and preliminary engineering, a preliminary traffic assessment, final site plan preparation and construction plans, and land acquisition transaction services, including an ALTA/ACSM Land Title survey, lead and asbestos survey, easement plats, VSMP General Permit and SWPPP, and subdivision platting.

Berkeley Business Park

Scope included a Land Development Unit plan with layouts for stormwater and sanitary sewers, topographic and route surveys, land records research, easement and right-of-way acquisi-tions, supplemental landscape plans, conceptual design development and evaluation, final construc-tion drawing preparation, construction administration, construction stakeout, and more.

Beaverdam Reservoir

With this study, Bowman’s team prepared a schematic design for potential park features, developed base mapping to determine development constraints and the boundaries of environmental overlay districts using GIS data, and identified potential access locations and existing public utilities. The information was to be used for development of a conceptual facility layout.

Beach Mill Road Channel Restoration

Bowman provided on-call services to Fairfax County’s Stormwater Planning Division. The team provided environmental consulting services, conceptual and final engineering design, and construction phase administration for this stream restoration project. Bowman’s team of environmental scientists performed a wetland delineation and stream mitigation evaluation, and a Water Quality Impact Assessment report and small whorled pogonia survey were prepared.
