Claiborne Parkway Extension

Bowman prepared a traffic impact analysis, travel demand forecasting, traffic signal warrant analysis, preliminary traffic signal design plan, and provided public involvement support for the 4,000 LF extension of Claiborne Parkway in Loudoun County. The project was locally administered by the County’s Office of Transportation Services, and Bowman also provided survey, environmental permitting services, and roadway and drainage design for the entire project.

Confidential Substation

Bowman provided 3D laser scanning services for this security fence project, which is being administered through Bowman’s Master Service Agreement with the client. 3D scanning services are being conducted to capture survey grade 3-Dimensional data on the existing substation, perimeter fence, towers, and associated equipment, including ground elevations within the substation and around specified transmission towers outside the substation.

Chicago Sewer Design Improvements

Design engineering services for sewer improvement projects located throughout Chicago. Work includes data collec-tion and initial assessments, coordination of survey and geotechnical engineering, utility coordination, sewer align-ments and profiles, structural design, compliance with IEPA water sewer separation requirements, cross sec-tions/typical sections, traffic control and detours, surface drainage design, OUC submittals and approvals, and permitting.

Charles City County Annual Services Contract

Bowman was selected to perform utility engineering services for various water and wastewater systems. Bowman is responsible for attending various meetings with County staff and Supervisors, regulatory officials and representatives from the funding agencies in pursuit of financing for the below identified projects, as well as attending public meetings.

Chessie’s Trail: Lee District Park

Bowman provided planning, engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, and environmental consulting services within the 120-acre Lee District Park as part of the Family Recreation Area Spray Park and Accessible Tree House and Chessie Trail development. The accessible trails and tree house project had significant topographic and tree preservation challenges.

Clarks Branch Bridge Riverbend Park

Bowman provided watershed analysis, preliminary and final engineering design, environmental investigation and permitting, surveying and construction documentation, for design and installation of the 90 foot span hiker/equestrian bridge span over the Clark’s Branch tributary.

Canton Car Wash

Bowman provided surveying, land planning, and engineering services. Given the unique nature of this car wash project it required an analysis of both automobile and pedestrian circulation patterns within the site to ensure safety of users and the public. This project took a highly visible, dilapidated and under-utilized piece of industrial real estate and transformed it into an attractive “green” commercial site.

Bordetown Waterfront Community

Bowman provided civil engineering, landscape architecture and surveying services for the second phase of this large redevelopment project consisting of multi-family housing with 157 townhouses and 176 apartment units, and an amphitheater and shade structure overlooking the Delaware River.

Calumet

Bowman team designed and planned a 900 plus unit residential subdivision as well as public road and utility infrastructure. The team was challenged with creating a site sensitive design while maximizing the total allowable dwelling units all while balancing community buy in with the town residence and adjacent neighbors.

Cedar Crest Village

The project included the development of a retirement village with 1,500 independent living units and 512 assisted living and extended skilled care units located within 16 buildings on 232 acres.
