Bowman was tapped by Florida Power & Light (FPL) to support the structural evaluation of transmission poles accommodating distribution underbuild upgrades. The work was conducted across both 69 kV and 138 kV circuits, addressing individual poles as well as larger groups of structures to assess the feasibility of proposed modifications.

San Diego Gas & Electric

Clover-Nebo Substation Connection

The Clover–Nebo 138kV project involved modifying an existing transmission line to loop in and out of a new 138kV substation. This work was critical to integrating the substation into the regional grid and enhancing overall system reliability.

Camp Williams Modernization

Our team provided engineering and project management services for this 345kV reliability and capacity enhancement project involving the replacement of existing H-frame structures with taller, modern poles across 45 spans. This upgrade was designed to increase conductor clearances and achieve the maximum summer emergency line rating in accordance with client performance standards.

Explorer Pipeline Gilcrease Expressway

Explorer Pipeline was directed by the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority to relocate a portion of their 28” pipeline in the western portion of Tulsa County in Oklahoma due to the proposed construction of a new tollway.
