Bowman was contracted to provide MEP engineering and energy consulting services for the adaptive reuse of a four-story, 123,000 sq. ft. office building and the region’s first large-scale, post-pandemic office-to-residential conversion, providing 143 income-restricted apartments.
Bowman provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering design services for the corporate headquarters of ATPCO (Airline Tariff Publishing Company), transforming a basic shell into a modern, high-performance workplace.
We provided full mechanical and electrical engineering design for the adaptive reuse of the Shillman Building into a modern, energy efficient Baltimore City District Courthouse. The project featured a complete HVAC system replacement with a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system and a dedicated outside air system (DOAS).
Bowman provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering services for the BlueHalo project in Herndon, Virginia. Working in collaboration with FORM Architects, our team delivered comprehensive MEP design for approximately 19,700 sq. ft. of office space tailored to support the client’s operational and technological needs.
As part of an ongoing five-year partnership, our team provided data center and critical operations consulting, serving as a liaison between the client’s real estate team, IT operations group and third-party facility operators. We conducted reliability and risk reviews, evaluated both capital and operational expenditures and delivered designs that enhanced reliability and operational efficiency.
While many companies are just now entering the AI data center space, our team has been there since the beginning, adapting data center design as the industry has evolved. Our team works with third-party providers, co-location owners, enterprise users, AI companies, developers, and all sorts of entities requiring AI data center services.
Our team provided program and project management along with electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for this confidential health insurance client, implementing a 2015 master plan for a strategic series of upgrades needed to maintain the data center’s resiliency.
Bowman was responsible for the MEP engineering for the new 95,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Elementary and Middle School. The new school will have three floors, equipped with cutting-edge science, art and music labs, even several mindfulness and communal spaces. The project was designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
4MLK is the first of two new gateway buildings to be prominently located at the entrance of the research park. Bowman is responsible for the MEP design services for the first Gateway building, a 266,000 sq. ft. facility. The building is designed LEED Silver and exceeds ASHRAE 90.1-2010 by 20%.
JP Energy Partners planned a crude oil gathering, storage and mainline pump facility located south of Cherokee, OK and a crude oil pipeline metering station at Cushing, OK to serve the new Great Salt Plains 8” Crude Pipeline originating in Cherokee, OK and terminating in Cushing, OK.
