Bowman provided full service engineering, environmental, surveying and construction administration for the restoration of 800 lf of degraded stream valley, installation of 1,000 lf of new trails, and a 30 foot long pedestrian bridge crossing, as well as the first two synthetic turf fields in Tysons Virginia.
The I-66 “Outside the Beltway” project is a public-private partnership transportation project that includes 22.5 miles of new tolled express lanes, new and improved bus service and transit routes, and new and expanded park and ride lots.
The U.S. Army, Fort Belvoir and Clark Realty Capital, LLC are working together to plan, construct, and operate military family housing communities for Fort Belvoir in Fairfax County, Virginia. Bowman is providing engineering design, land planning, and construction support services for Jadwin Village and Gerber Village.
Bowman provided planning, surveying and civil design services including topographic and route surveys, land records research, easement and right-of-way acquisitions, tree inventory/analysis/management and supplemental landscape plans. Also provided conceptual design development, final construction drawing preparation, cost estimating, bid phase services, construction administration, construction stakeout, as-built surveys and close out reporting.
The proposed Fox Gate development is located on 19 acres alongside Route 50 near the Fairfax County line. The project consists of approximately 600,000 sq. ft. of mixed-use space including office, retail, civic, and residential uses.
Bowman provides design engineering services to Peoples Gas, Light and Coke Company (PGL) for PGL’s Accelerated Main Replacement Program (AMRP). These engineering services are for gas main installation and replacement projects the design of permanent bridge supports of existing gas mains at proposed utility crossings, and maintenance of traffic plans for neighborhood projects.
Bowman provided support under an active on-call multi-year agreement with the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works. The project required final engineering and surveying for roadway widening, turn-lane construction and drainage improvements.
Bowman provided civil engineering and surveying services for this project, which included a 17,000 sq. ft. building with 6 attached bays for fire and rescue vehicles and a 5,400 sq. ft. annex building. A site plan was developed and processed through the Town of Hamilton and included design for stormwater, sanitary sewers, water, and stormwater management.
Bowman provided design for the 3.8-acre site that required engineering efforts from a detailed site plan through final engineering and surveying. Additionally, the team is responsible for permitting and construction oversight once designs are completed.
Bowman provided its core engineering and design services to facilitate the planning and reconstruction and resurfacing of over a mile of public road infrastructure. The team also oversaw the design and replacement of thousands of feet of utility lines. This required coordination of detailed field survey and geotechnical investigations to ensure design accounted for real world constraints.
