Bowman performed sub-bottom profiling at Olcott Harbor in Lake Ontario. We ran approximately 48,000 transects of varying lengths using a full-spectrum sub-bottom profiler, towing an EdgeTech sub-bottom profiler alongside Bowman’s survey vessel.

Barton Mines Upper Pond Sediment Monitoring

Bowman performs semi-annual bathymetric monitoring of Barton Mines’ Upper Pond in North Creek, NY, to evaluate sediment and slime accumulation and changes in pond conditions over time. This ongoing comparison gives Barton Mines ongoing pond maintenance and long-term sediment management planning.

Port Jervis Reservoir Bathymetry, Capacity & Safe-Yield Planning

Bowman performed bathymetric surveys of three drinking-water reservoirs in Port Jervis, NY, to establish existing bottom conditions and calculate current water-storage capacities. We also developed recommendations for future safe-yield analysis, including long-term reservoir water-level monitoring and collection of supporting water-supply data.

Bowman performed acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) surveys along mapped fault regions of the Hudson River to evaluate water-column velocity and flow direction associated with suspected losing sections of the river.

Today Show Garden

Bowman managed the design and development plans for the Today Show Garden, created in partnership with the National Gardening Association and KidsGardening.org to support the nationwide Garden in Every School Program initiative. The project transformed an existing basketball court into a universally accessible outdoor garden and plant-based learning center for school-age users.

New York Public Library

To prepare for a projection mapping show at the New York Public Library, a 3D scan of a historic space was conducted using a Faro S series scanner. Eight high-resolution scans captured 350 million points in under two hours, creating an immersive 3D point cloud. The mesh was refined collaboratively, enabling content development ahead of the event.

Bronx Museum of the Arts
