Bowman provided extensive planning and surveying services to the analysis and design of a power plant expansion. The project consisted of surveying services for a railroad site located approximately one mile north of Lee Steam Plant, near the Dunlap Road grade crossing.

Bowman is providing project management services for the design and construction of transportation improvements that will improve safety, operations, and streets in and around the Lincoln Yards Development.

Bowman provided planning and design services to the Town of Vienna for the Maple Avenue project. Bowman’s scope of services includes approximately a mile of comprehensive streetscape enhancement, pedestrian improvements, significant overhead utility undergrounding, storm drain utility analysis and design, a full topographic and property survey, and comprehensive easement and entitlement services.

CM services for bridge/retaining wall construction, roadway reconstruction, erosion control and protection, utility relocation of storm sewers, water tunnels, special waste excavation, earth excavation and embankment, removal of existing improvements, pavements, marking/signage, lighting, ITS, traffic control and protection, and urban enhancements.

The I-66 “Outside the Beltway” project is a public-private partnership transportation project that includes 22.5 miles of new tolled express lanes, new and improved bus service and transit routes, and new and expanded park and ride lots.

Bowman provided support under an active on-call multi-year agreement with the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works. The project required final engineering and surveying for roadway widening, turn-lane construction and drainage improvements.

Bowman provided design for the 3.8-acre site that required engineering efforts from a detailed site plan through final engineering and surveying. Additionally, the team is responsible for permitting and construction oversight once designs are completed.

Bowman provided its core engineering and design services to facilitate the planning and reconstruction and resurfacing of over a mile of public road infrastructure. The team also oversaw the design and replacement of thousands of feet of utility lines. This required coordination of detailed field survey and geotechnical investigations to ensure design accounted for real world constraints.

Bowman has provided the engineering design and coordination services for wet utilities on the Northwest Rail Electrified Segment and the Gold Line segment concept design for modifications to the Coors Field parking lot including drive aisles, pedestrian walkways, parking spaces, curb and gutter, detention ponds, relocating existing water quality ponds and holding relocations, and locating retaining walls.
