Bowman was tapped by Florida Power & Light (FPL) to support the structural evaluation of transmission poles accommodating distribution underbuild upgrades. The work was conducted across both 69 kV and 138 kV circuits, addressing individual poles as well as larger groups of structures to assess the feasibility of proposed modifications.

Camp Williams Modernization

Our team provided engineering and project management services for this 345kV reliability and capacity enhancement project involving the replacement of existing H-frame structures with taller, modern poles across 45 spans. This upgrade was designed to increase conductor clearances and achieve the maximum summer emergency line rating in accordance with client performance standards.

McFarland Solar Facility

Our multidisciplinary team combined civil, structural, hydrology, and permitting expertise to design and implement a resilient renewable energy solution. The project demanded innovative approaches to site grading, drainage, and well siting, ensuring long-term performance and environmental compliance.

Northeastern University

Office Building Engineering Management

Our team was engaged directly by a confidential financial services client to serve as the engineer of record for tenant improvement design and construction administration in a new four-story office building. Services included mechanical, lighting, power, fire alarm and fire protection design. In collaboration with the owner, developer, core-shell design team and the project’s architect and interior designer, the team provided Engineering Management Services (EMS) during the core-shell design phase.
